  • The use of a surfactant with Vesta Herbicide is generally not required unless specified in the directions for use.
  • Apply under hot, dry conditions when air temperatures exceed 25°C for best results.

  • Weeds should begin to yellow within 10 days of application.

MIXING:

  • Vesta Herbicide readily mixes with water.
  • Half-fill the spray tank, then add the product with agitation.
  • Fill the tank.

CLEAN UP:

  • Clean equipment by thoroughly washing with water.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS:

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEA AND THE ENVIRONMENT:

  • Dangerous to fish.
  • Do not contaminate dams, rivers, drains, or streams with chemical or used containers.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • Vesta Herbicide belongs to the Organoarsenicals group of herbicides and is a Group Z herbicide.
  • It has a mode of action involving herbicides with unknown and probably diverse sites of action.
  • It is important for weed resistance management, as it is a Group Z herbicide.
  • Some naturally occurring weed biotypes may be resistant to the product and other Group Z herbicides through normal genetic variability.
  • Resistant weeds will not be controlled by this product or other Group Z herbicides.
  • Colin Campbell (Chemicals) Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of this product to control resistant weeds.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in a locked room or place away from children, animals, food, feedstuff, seeds, and fertilizers.
  • Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to the spray tank.
  • Do not dispose of undiluted chemical on-site.
  • If recycling, replace the cap and return clean containers to the recycler or designated collection point.
  • If not recycling, break, puncture, or crush and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill.
  • If no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for the purpose, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation, and tree roots.
  • Empty containers and product should not be burnt.
