GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

WIZARD 36 is an insecticide and acaricide with contact and stomach action. It exhibits translaminar movement and limited plant systemic activity. Good spray coverage is crucial for effective control. Here are some general instructions for its use:

Mixing:

  • Measure the required amount of WIZARD 36 and add it to the partly filled spray tank, then fill up the remainder with water. No wetting agent is necessary.

Application Instructions for Cotton and Soybeans:

  • Apply using ground spraying equipment with a minimum spray volume of 100 L/ha or by fixed-wing aircraft with a minimum volume of 20 L/ha. Ensure good coverage.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Refer to the ADAMA compatibility guide for detailed information on compatibility with other products.

CROP MONITORING:

  • Regularly monitor crops every 3-5 days during the season to ensure effective control.

Resistance Warning:

  • WIZARD 36 belongs to Group 6 insecticides. To manage insecticide resistance, avoid repeated use of WIZARD 36 or other Group 6 insecticides. Rotate with products from different chemical groups. Follow specific resistance management strategies outlined by ADAMA or industry guides.

CROP SPECIFIC RESISTANCE STRATEGY:

  • Limit the number of applications per season/crop to avoid the development of resistance. For cotton, adhere to guidelines in the "Cotton Pest Management Guide" and consult with your chemical supplier or technical consultant for advice on chemical groups.

Precautions: Re-Entry Period

  • Restrict entry into treated areas until the spray has dried. If re-entry is necessary, wear appropriate protective clothing and launder after each day's use. Avoid re-entry into treated areas in glasshouses for 24 hours after treatment.

General Safety Precautions:

  • Avoid using human flaggers/markers unless they are protected by engineering controls. Employ strategies to minimize spray drift during application.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT:

  • Avoid applying under weather conditions or with spraying equipment that may cause spray drift. Prevent contamination of waterways and avoid spraying plants in flower while bees are foraging.

Cotton Specific:

  • Follow Best Management Practices outlined by the cotton industry to minimize spray drift.

These instructions provide guidance for the safe and effective use of WIZARD 36. Always follow label instructions and consult with local agricultural authorities for specific recommendations.
