Directions for Use

Restraints:

• Do not apply if rainfall is expected before the spray has dried.

• Avoid applying more than one spray per season to prevent the development of mite resistance.

Spray Drift Restraints:

• Ensure bystanders do not come into contact with the spray cloud.

• Do not apply in a way that may negatively impact native vegetation, agricultural crops, gardens, aquaculture production, or cause contamination of plant or livestock commodities due to spray drift. Buffer zones provided in the relevant tables offer guidance but may not always be sufficient. Use application equipment designed to reduce spray drift and apply when wind direction is away from sensitive areas.

• Apply only when wind speed is between 3 and 20 kilometers per hour at the application site.

• Avoid application during hazardous surface temperature inversion conditions, which typically occur most evenings one to two hours before sunset and persist until one to two hours after sunrise.

• When applying by aircraft, ensure spray droplets are not smaller than a Medium spray droplet size category. Observe minimum distances between the application site and downwind sensitive areas as specified in the "Mandatory buffer zones" section.
