GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Zorvec Enicade fungicide is designed for the control of specific foliar plant diseases, offering preventive and locally systemic activity. It should be applied in a routine protective spray program, rotating with other fungicides as per the Directions for Use table for specific crop/disease recommendations.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
- Fill the spray tank to ¼ to ½ full of water.
- Measure the required amount of Zorvec Enicade and add it directly to the spray tank with agitation engaged.
- Mix thoroughly to disperse the fungicide.
- Maintain continuous agitation using mechanical or hydraulic means; avoid air agitation, premix, or slurry.
- If the spray solution is left standing, ensure thorough re-agitation before use; do not let it sit overnight.
MIXING ORDER
Follow this sequence for mixing:
- Water-soluble bags
- Dry flowable or water-dispersible granules
- Wettable powders
- Water-based suspension concentrates
- Water-soluble concentrates
- Oil-based suspension concentrates
- Emulsifiable concentrates
- Adjuvants and surfactants
- Soluble fertilizers
SURFACTANT/WETTING AGENT
The use of a surfactant/wetting agent is not required.
APPLICATION
- Use a sprayer with high flow rate nozzles for optimal coverage.
- Apply the highest practical spray volume, ensuring thorough coverage with a minimum of 250 L/ha.
- Nozzles with higher rated flows produce larger droplets; use lower spray pressures recommended for the nozzle.
- Avoid higher pressure, as it does not improve canopy penetration and may increase drift potential.
- When higher flow rates are needed, use a higher-capacity nozzle instead of increasing pressure.
- Consider using low-drift nozzles.
COMPATIBILITY
Zorvec Enicade is an oil-based formulation. Avoid tank mixing with products causing crop injury when applied with oils unless specifically recommended by Corteva Agriscience. Test the physical compatibility of tank mixes and check for adverse effects like settling or flocculation.
SPRAY EQUIPMENT CLEANOUT
Clean all equipment thoroughly after application. Rinse sprayer, flush hoses, boom, and nozzles with clean water. Dispose of waste rinse water according to local regulations.
RESISTANCE WARNING
Zorvec Enicade is a Group 49 fungicide. To manage resistance, adhere to specific strategies. Resistance may develop if Zorvec Enicade is used repeatedly, leading to reduced efficacy. No liability is accepted for losses due to resistance. Refer to the current Fungicide Resistance Management (FRM) strategy for your region.
DISEASE RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT
To delay resistance:
- Limit Zorvec Enicade exposure to 33% of the total period of protection.
- For crops with three or more Downy mildew fungicide applications, use Zorvec Enicade in no more than 33% of applications.
- Apply Zorvec Enicade preventatively and no more than two times in sequence before using a fungicide with a different mode of action.
- Rotate or tank mix with fungicides of a different mode of action.
- Follow guidelines for specific crops and diseases.
