General Instructions:

Mixing: Premix the required amount in a small quantity of water. Half fill the spray tank and commence agitation. Slowly add the well-stirred premix. Top up with the required quantity of water. Maintain agitation throughout the spraying procedure.

Application in Tree Crops and Vines:

Dilute Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed to apply high volumes of water up to the point of runoff and matched to the crop being sprayed.

  • Set up and operate the sprayer to achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy. Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of runoff. Avoid excessive runoff.

  • The required water volume may be determined by applying different test volumes, using different settings on the sprayer, from industry guidelines, or expert advice. Add the amount of product specified in the Directions for Use table for each 100L of water. Spray to the point of runoff.

  • The required dilute spray volume will change, and the sprayer setup and operation may also need to be changed as the crop grows.

Concentrate Spraying:

  1. Use a sprayer designed and set up for concentrate spraying (i.e., a sprayer that applies water volumes less than those required to reach the point of runoff) and matched to the crop being sprayed.

  2. Set up and operate the sprayer to achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy using your chosen water volume.

  3. Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume (See Dilute Spraying above) for the crop canopy. This is needed to calculate the concentrate mixing rate.

  4. The mixing rate for concentrate spraying can then be calculated as follows:

    • Example:

      • Dilute spray volume as determined above: For example, 1500L/ha

      • Your chosen concentrate spray volume: For example, 500L/ha

      • The concentration factor in this example is: 3X (i.e., 1500L ÷ 500L = 3)

      • If the dilute label rate is 10 mL/100 L, then the concentrate rate becomes 3 x 10; that is 30mL/100L of concentrate spray.

  5. The chosen spray volume, amount of product per 100L of water, and the sprayer setup and operation may need to be changed as the crop grows.

  6. For further information on concentrate spraying, users are advised to consult relevant industry guidelines, undertake appropriate competency training, and follow industry Best Practices.

Compatibility: This product is compatible with most commonly used fungicides and insecticides. Any preparation of mixtures is entirely at the risk of the user, and neither the manufacturer nor the seller shall assume any responsibility in such cases. A preliminary test with small quantities is recommended prior to use. DO NOT mix with dinitrophenol derivatives such as DNOC or any oil-containing products. DO NOT apply tank mixes to crops suffering from stress.
