GENERAL INFORMATION
Adios Ambros, mixed with water, may be applied as a post-emergent treatment to provide rapid desiccation of common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia) in areas of high ragweed density including along roadsides, highways and walkways, in vacant lots and industrial areas. The application of Adios Ambros under the conditions outlined in this label results in the loss of turgor pressure in common ragweed plants through the rapid loss of water from cells within plant leaves.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Applications of Adios Ambros are most effective for the control of common ragweed when applied prior to flower initiation. Flower initiation may occur in common ragweed plants varying in height from as little as 5 cm to more than 1 metre. Smaller common ragweed plants are less likely to experience regrowth following an application of Adios Ambros.
Mix 120 g of Adios Ambros per L of water (150 kg per 1250 L) and apply as a directed spray to common ragweed foliage in a spray volume of 1250 L of water per hectare. Thorough spray coverage of the plant canopy is necessary since Adios Ambros works as a contact herbicide.
Foliage that does not receive the spray application will be unaffected. Apply Adios Ambros under sunny conditions with an ambient temperature of at least 24ºC. Wilting and desiccation of leaves may be observed within 24 hours of the application when applications are made under the conditions described in this label. Some re-growth of common ragweed may occur following applications made under less than favourable conditions such as cloudy or shady conditions, or when temperatures are less than 24ºC.
Do not apply in rainy conditions or if rain is forecast within the next 24 hours.
Field sprayer application: DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty.
DO NOT apply using aerial application equipment.
DO NOT apply this product directly to freshwater habitats (such as lakes, rivers, sloughs, ponds,
prairie potholes, creeks, marshes, streams, reservoirs, ditches, and wetlands). A maximum of one application per season may be made.
A sprayer with directed jets (hand-held nozzle or boom) or a conventional tractor or spray-mount fixed boom is recommended. Provide sufficient agitation during mixing and application to maintain a uniform spray mixture.
