All seed treated with this product must be conspicuously coloured at the time of treatment. DO NOT TREAT SEEDS IN CANADA.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Product
ALLEGIANCE for Vegetables is a systemic fungicide seed treatment for control of seed rots caused by Pythium spp. on certain vegetables.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Section 7: Recommended Uses
ALLEGIANCE for Vegetables is a systemic fungicide seed treatment for control of seed rot/ preemergence and post-emergence damping-off caused by Pythium spp. ALLEGIANCE for Vegetables may only be used for treatment of seed for importation into Canada. Not for commercial or on-farm seed treatment in Canada.
ALLEGIANCE for Vegetables treated seed may reduce seed flow in the seed drill. Recalibration of the seed drill may be required to obtain correct seeding rate before planting.

Section 8: Application Cautions
Seed Quality: Treatment of highly mechanically damaged seed, or seed of known low vigour and poor quality may result in reduced germination and/or reduction of seed and seedling vigour. If seed lot quality is unknown, conduct a germination test on a small portion of seed before committing the total seed lot to a selected chemical treatment. Due to seed quality conditions beyond the control of Bayer CropScience, no claims are made to guarantee germination of carryover seed.

Section 9: Use Limitations
USE RESTRICTIONS:
1. Do not plant treated seeds by hand. Commercial retail only.
2. Treated seed must not be used for food, feed or oil processing.
3. Do not graze or feed livestock on treated areas for four weeks after planting.
4. Treated seed may be toxic to birds and other wildlife. Clean up any spilled seed. Ensure that treated seed is properly incorporated at planting.
5. All bags containing treated seed for sale or use in Canada must be labelled as follows: 'This seed has been treated with ALLEGIANCE for Vegetables seed protectant fungicide containing metalaxyl, a Group 4 Fungicide. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants and chemical resistant gloves when handling treated seed. Do not plant treated seeds by hand. Commercial retail only.Do not use for feed, food or oil processing.'
6. Do not apply this product directly to freshwater habitats (such as lakes, rivers, sloughs, ponds, prairie potholes, creeks, marshes, streams, reservoirs, ditches and wetlands), estuaries or marine habitats.
7. Do not contaminate irrigation or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes.
