All seeds treated with this product must be conspicuously coloured at the time of treatment. Captan 400 seed protectant is a flowable concentrate especially formulated for the treatment of seed prior to storage and planting. Captan 400 protects seed from molds and other fungi causing storage loss and protects seed from seed borne and soil borne fungi which cause seed decay, damping-off and seedling blights.
Caution: Exposure to captan may produce long term health effects. To minimize exposure, follow directions outlined on this label.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Thoroughly mix the recommended amount of CAPTAN 400 SEED PROTECTANT into the required amount of water for the slurry treater equipment and dilution rate to be used. Clean equipment thoroughly between operations.
Treatment of seed that is of known low vigour and poor quality or treatment of highly mechanically damaged seed may result in reduced germination. Prior to treating the entire seed lot, treat some of the seed and then perform a germination test to determine if the treatment is affecting seed germination.
This product contains no colourant. An appropriate colourant must be added when this product is applied to seed. Regulations pertaining to the “Seeds Act” must be strictly adhered to when using this product.
IMPORTANT: Before using, stir thoroughly to mix contents or use entire container at one time. Do not combine colloidal suspensions, wettable powder or emulsifiable concentrates unless previous experience assures compatibility.
