Citowett Plus
GENERAL INFORMATION
CITOWETT PLUS spreader sticker adjuvant is a non-ionic water soluble product that enhances the effectiveness of agricultural chemicals. Under certain conditions, the use of CITOWETT PLUS is recommended with BASAGRAN. It is also recommended with ALLY, ATRAZINE, TELAR, MUSTER, PYRAMIN FL, PINNACLE and REFINE EXTRA.
HOW IT WORKS
CITOWETT PLUS reduces the surface tension of the spray and increases the adherence of plant protection products to the leaf surface, preventing the product from dripping off.
When CITOWETT PLUS is added to a spray mixture, foliage wettability is greatly improved on the surface of either "waxy" or "hairy" leaf surfaces or buds. The adherence qualities of CITOWETT PLUS result in longer spray activity. The absorption of post-emergence herbicides is improved by the addition of CITOWETT PLUS.
With CITOWETT PLUS dusty plants are covered better with spray and the herbicide also reaches depressions in the leaf's surface and adheres to them.
DIRECTION FOR USE
MIXING CITOWETT PLUS
1. Fill the spray tank about half full with water and add the required herbicide while the agitator is running or by-pass agitation is operating.
2. Add other tank mix components in the following order:
(a) Water soluble bags - make sure water soluble bags are completely dissolved before adding next tank mix component.
(b) Dry flowables - make sure herbicide is completely in suspension before adding next tank mix component.
(c) Emulsifiable concentrates.
3. Complete the filling of the tank with water and finally add CITOWETT PLUS under constant agitation. If tank mixing a drift control agent or anti-foaming agent, add it last.
4. For repeat loads, drain the tank to 10% or less of capacity. Follow instructions on specific product labels for mixing repeat loads.
