GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - DETONATE 500 Herbicide

Mixing:

• Caution: DO NOT use in open mixing and loading systems.
• Add the required amount of DETONATE 500 to clean water in a half-filled spray tank with the agitator or bypass in operation.
• Maintain agitation during the filling of the tank with the remainder of the water.
• Agitation must be continuously maintained throughout the spray operation.

Application:

• DETONATE 500 requires thorough spray coverage for effectiveness.
• Ensure proper calibration of equipment for an even distribution at the correct volume.
• Ground Application:
  • Apply in a minimum of 100 L of water per hectare.
  • Use hollow cone nozzles and droppers for better results.
• Aerial Application:
  • Apply in a minimum of 20 L of water per hectare.
  • Ensure a minimum Volume Median Diameter (VMD) of 130 pm.
  • Avoid application when wind speeds are below 1 m/s or exceed 4 m/s.
  • Avoid application when temperatures exceed 30°C or under unstable conditions.

Compatibility:

• Due to variations in water quality and formulations of other manufacturer's products, all mixtures should be tested before large-scale mixing.
• Ensure compatibility by testing mixtures before commercial quantities are prepared.
