SEED TREATMENT FUNGICIDE

Do not exceed a maximum 20,000 kg seed treated per person per day.

GENERAL INFORMATION
GEMINI Seed Treatment Fungicide is a water-based ready-to-use seed treatment formulation containing triticonazole and thiram. GEMINI Seed Treatment Fungicide controls or suppresses certain seed- and soil-borne diseases in wheat, barley, and oats.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
GEMINI Seed Treatment Fungicide is a ready-to-use seed treatment formulation for use in commercial seed treatment plants and for use in on-farm standard gravity flow or mist type treatment machines. GEMINI Seed Treatment Fungicide can also be used in “On the Go” air seeder treatments systems.
When used at the recommended rate of 360 mL/100 kg seed, no additional dyes or dilutions with water are needed unless recommended by the manufacturer of the seed treatment application equipment/machines. Please consult the seed treatment application equipment manufacturer in question for further directions.
Agitate or shake well prior to usage.
The use of this chemical may result in contamination of groundwater particularly in areas where soils are permeable (e.g. sandy soil) and/or the depth to the water table is shallow.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store in original container with the lid tightly closed.
Store in an area that is out of reach of children and animals, away from food, feed stuffs, fertilizers and seed.
Protect from frost and freezing.

USE RESTRICTIONS
Do not use treated seed for food, feed or oil processing.
Do not store GEMINI Seed Treatment Fungicide near feed or foodstuffs.
Do not contaminate feed or foodstuffs.

Any seed treated with this product must be either thoroughly stained with a conspicuous color or coated with a material that renders it conspicuous. GEMINI Seed Treatment is sold only to individuals who can comply with these requirements. Regulations pertaining to the coloration of treated seed enforced under the “Seeds Act” must be strictly adhered to when using this product.

SEED LABELLING
TREATED SEED MUST BE LABELLED AS FOLLOWS:
"This seed has been treated with GEMINI Seed Treatment Fungicide containing triticonazole and thiram. DO NOT use for food, feed or oil processing". The date of treatment must also be included.
DO NOT store treated seed for more than 18 months. Treated seed stored for periods in excess of 18 months may decrease in germination at a faster rate than untreated seed. Treated seed stored for more than 6 months should be tested for germination before planting.
Thoroughly clean auger after handling treated seed before using same auger for handling commercial or feed grains.
Leftover treated seed should not be stored where there is a chance of it becoming mixed with untreated seed.
Store treated seed in cool, dry conditions.
