MANZATE MAX liquid fungicide is now registered for use on potatoes, fruits and vegetable crops in Canada. A multi-site protectant fungicide (FRAC M3), MANZATE MAX provides effective control of early and late blight in potatoes, in addition to many other diseases.

The active ingredient in MANZATE MAX, mancozeb, is one of the most economical, broad-spectrum fungicides for early and late blight. And because it is a multi-site fungicide, there is a low risk of diseases developing resistance.

CROP TIMING - POTATOES

Begin applications of MANZATE MAX Fungicide when plants are 10–15 cm high; repeat at 7- to 10-day intervals. MANZATE MAX may be applied up to 1 day before harvest. During periods of wet weather favouring late blight and/or vigorous crop growth, spray intervals may be reduced to 5–6 days.

RATE - POTATOES

Applications of MANZATE MAX Fungicide for control of early and late blights in potatoes should be made at 0.70–1.42 L/ac (1.72–3.5 L/ha). Utilize sufficient water to ensure good coverage: 21.4–106.9 gal/ac (200–1,000 L/ha).

RATE RANGE

Where a rate range is given, start with low rate and increase to maximum as foliage develops.

For usage rates and timing on all other crops, please consult the label.
