GENERAL INFORMATION

MUSTER Herbicide is recommended for use on spring planted canola (rapeseed) varieties, brown condiment mustard and oriental mustard (condiment and oilseed types) grown in Canada. Muster Herbicide is a 75% active ingredient herbicide formulated as a dry flowable dispersible granule. Muster Herbicide is to be mixed in water and applied as a uniform broadcast spray with a recommended surfactant, for selective control or suppression of certain broadleaf weeds in canola (rapeseed) as well as brown condiment mustard and oriental mustard (condiment and oilseed types). It is noncorrosive, nonflammable, nonvolatile and does not require heated storage. Do not graze or feed crop to livestock within 60 days of treatment.
Do not harvest within 60 days of treatment.
Muster Herbicide MUST be applied with a recommended surfactant early postemergence, to the main flush of actively growing broadleaf weeds. Registered surfactants are AG-SURF, AGRAL 90, CITOWETT PLUS, CANPLUS 411, HI-MIX or SURE-MIX and MERGE. Warm, moist growing conditions promote active weed growth and enhance the activity of Muster Herbicide by allowing maximum foliar uptake and contact activity. Weeds hardened off by cold weather or drought stress may not be adequately controlled or suppressed and regrowth may occur. Regrowth may also occur if crop competitiveness is impaired by thin stands and/or reduced vigour. Muster Herbicide may only be applied with ground spray equipment. For best results, ensure thorough spray coverage of target weeds. See "Postemergence Applications" section of this label for complete use details.
Muster Herbicide is an ALS inhibitor herbicide and thus rapidly inhibits the growth of susceptible weeds, however, typical symptoms (discoloration) of dying weeds may not be noticeable for 1 to 3 weeks after application depending upon growing conditions and weed susceptibility. Degree of control and duration of effect depend on weed sensitivity, weed size, growing conditions, and spray coverage.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Do not re-enter treated fields until 12 hours after application.
Apply only when the potential for drift to areas of human habitation or areas of human activity (houses, cottages, schools and recreational areas) is minimal. Take into consideration wind speed, wind direction temperature, application equipment and sprayer settings.

Field Sprayer Application:
DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty.
DO NOT apply with spray droplets smaller than the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE) medium classification. The best available application strategies which minimize off-site drift, including meteorological conditions (e.g. wind direction, low wind speed) and spray equipment (e.g. coarse droplet sizes, minimizing height above canopy), should be used. Applicators must, however observe the specified buffer zones for protection of sensitive aquatic habitats.
Boom height must be 60cm or less above the crop or ground.
