GENERAL INFORMATION
MUSTER Toss-N-Go Herbicide is recommended for use on spring planted canola (rapeseed) varieties, brown condiment mustard and oriental mustard (condiment and oilseed types) grown in Canada.
MUSTER Toss-N-Go Herbicide is a 75% active ingredient herbicide dry flowable dispersible granule contained in a water-soluble film.
MUSTER Toss-N-Go Herbicide is to be mixed in water and applied as a uniform broadcast spray with a recommended surfactant, for selective control or suppression of certain broadleaf weeds in canola (rapeseed) as well as brown condiment mustard and oriental mustard (condiment and oilseed types). It is noncorrosive, nonflammable, nonvolatile and does not require heated storage. Do not graze or feed crop to livestock within 60 days of treatment. Do not harvest within 60 days of treatment.
MUSTER Toss-N-Go Herbicide MUST be applied with a recommended surfactant early postemergence, to the main flush of actively growing broadleaf weeds. Registered surfactants are AGSURF, AGRAL 90, CITOWETT PLUS, CANPLUS 411, HI-MIX, SURE-MIX and MERGE. Warm, moist growing conditions promote active weed growth and enhance the activity of MUSTER Toss-NGo Herbicide by allowing maximum foliar uptake and contact activity.
Weeds hardened off by cold weather or drought stress may not be adequately controlled or suppressed and regrowth may occur. Regrowth may also occur if crop competitiveness is impaired by thin stands and/or reduced vigour.
MUSTER Toss-N-Go Herbicide may only be applied with ground spray equipment. For best results, ensure thorough spray coverage of target weeds. See "Directions for Use" section of this label for complete use details.
MUSTER Toss-N-Go Herbicide is an ALS inhibitor herbicide and thus rapidly inhibits the growth of susceptible weeds; however, typical symptoms (discolouration) of dying weeds may not be noticeable for 1 to 3 weeks after application depending upon growing conditions and weed susceptibility. Degree of control and duration of effect depend on weed sensitivity, weed size, growing conditions, and spray coverage.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Do not re-enter treated fields until 12 hours after application.
Apply only when the potential for drift to areas of human habitation or areas of human activity (houses, cottages, schools and recreational areas) is minimal. Take into consideration wind speed, wind direction temperature, application equipment and sprayer settings.
DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty.
DO NOT apply with spray droplets smaller than the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE) medium classification. The best available application strategies which minimize off-site drift, including meteorological conditions (e.g. wind direction, low wind speed) and spray equipment (e.g. coarse droplet sizes, minimizing height above canopy), should be used. Applicators must, however observe the specified buffer zones for protection of sensitive aquatic habitats.
Boom height must be 60cm or less above the crop or ground.
NOTE: Applicators may recalculate a site-specific buffer zone by combining information on current weather conditions and spray configuration for the following applications: all airblast applications, and for field and aerial applications which specify the following droplet size category wording on the product label: ‘DO NOT apply with spray droplets smaller than the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE) medium classification.’ To access the Buffer Zone Calculator, please visit the Pest Management Regulatory Agency web site.
When a tank mixture is used, consult the labels of the tank-mix partners and observe the largest (most restrictive) buffer zone of the products involved in the tank mixture.
MINIMUM CROP ROTATION GUIDELINES
Minimum interval is that time from the last application of MUSTER Toss-N-Go Herbicide to date of planting the rotational crop.
INTERVAL PRIOR TO PLANTING (MONTHS AFTER APPLICATION):
10 months: Spring Wheat, Durum Wheat, Barley, Oats, Flax
