DIRECTION FOR USE:

It is recommended that this product not be applied in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only handlers wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) may be in the area during application.
DO NOT contaminate irrigation water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes.
For information on disposal of unused, unwanted product, contact the manufacturer or the provincial agency. Contact the manufacturer and the provincial regulatory agency in case of a spill, and for clean-up of spill.

Mixing Instructions:
Add required amount of concentrated No Scald DPA EC-283 slowly and with good stirring to water, agitating continuously for at least five minutes.

Dosage Rate:
For 1000 ppm (parts per million) DPA, use 3.2 L of concentrate in 1000 L of water. For 2000 ppm DPA, use 6.4 L of concentrate in 1000 L of water.

Rate of Application:
Use 1000 ppm DPA on Baldwin, Grimes Golden and Rome Beauty. Use 2000 ppm DPA on other varieties.

Timing:
Treat fruit within seven days after harvest, prior to placing in storage. For best results, treat as soon as possible after picking.

Post Harvest Application:
(A) Dipping - Immerse all fruit completely in the No Scald DPA EC-283 emulsion. Remove and allow apples to drain thoroughly, then place in cold storage.
(B) Spraying on Roller Sorter- Spray or flood apples as they move over 1 meter section of roller sorter, allow another 1 meter section for drainage.
