GENERAL INFORMATION
OPPORTUNE PTO is a selective post-emergent herbicide that can provide partial suppression of dandelions infesting turfgrass. Close scouting and early attention to infestations is highly recommended. Proper timing of application targeting newly emerged weeds is important for optimal results

PRECAUTIONS
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. May cause sensitization. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid inhaling/breathing mists. Wear waterproof gloves, a longsleeved shirt, long pants, a dust-mist filtering respirator/mask (NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C) or NIOSH approved respirators (with any N-95, P-95, R-95 or HE filter for biological products), and shoes plus socks when handling, mixing/loading or applying the product and during all clean-up and repair activities. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before re-use

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The concentrate of OPPORTUNE PTO must be mixed with water and applied as a foliar spray with hand-held equipment. Recommended sprayers include hand-held 1 litre bottles with trigger sprayers and pump sprayers of 2 – 10 litre volume. Thorough coverage of weed foliage is necessary for effective control. Spray patterns should be adjusted to deliver medium sized droplets. Avoid fine droplets that are prone to drift.
Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation equipment.
OPPORTUNE PTO does not have systemic activity. Newly emerged dandelions are more easily controlled than are mature plants. For mature dandelions, use the higher label rate and/or increase the spray volume to improve coverage.
As this product is not registered for the control of pests in aquatic systems, DO NOT use to control aquatic pests.
DO NOT contaminate irrigation or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Apply spray mixture to individual dandelions by providing complete coverage of visible foliage.
For a longer period of dandelion suppression, additional applications may be necessary after the initial application. Repeat applications at 21 day intervals as required. Use the lower rate for newly germinated dandelions and the higher rate for more mature dandelions.
Avoid overspray of surrounding turf. OPPORTUNE PTO applied at the highest rate may cause temporary discoloration of affected turf. Symptoms are more likely during periods of high temperature and/or moisture stress. To avoid excessive turf injury, do not apply to newly seeded lawns.
