DIRECTIONS FOR USE:


Apply as a water-based slurry. Thoroughly mix the recommended amount of fungicide into the required amount of water for the slurry treater and apply using standard slurry seed treatment equipment. Uniform application on seed is necessary to ensure optimum performance. Use only in treating equipment which can accurately control application rate and provide good distribution of the chemical onto the seed in the mixing chamber. Ensure seed is dry before adding to drill box.
For on-farm use only. DO NOT use for commercial seed treatment (in facilities or with mobile treaters).

RATE OF APPLICATION:


Apply 25g of PRO-GRO per kg of onion seed.

USE RESTRICTIONS:


1. DO NOT use treated seed for food, feed or oil processing.
2. Do not contaminate food, feed domestic or irrigation water supplies, lakes, streams and ponds.
3. All bags containing treated seed for sale or use in Canada must be labeled or tagged as follows:
"This seed has been treated with carbathiin and thiram. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and chemical-resistant gloves when handling treated seeds. DO NOT use treated seed for food, feed or oil processing. Store away from food and feed. Baggers, sowers and workers involved in handling treated seeds must wear a longsleeved shirt and lon g pants, chemical-resistant gloves, shoes and socks, to minimize exposure to dust from treated seed.”
4. Do not plant treated seed by broadcasting to the soil surface. Ensure that all planted seed are thoroughly covered with soil, especially in turn areas. If seeds are not thoroughly incorporated by the planter during planting, additional incorporation may be required to reduce exposed seeds. Cleanup, bury or cover all spilled seed with soil. Seeding practices, such as precision drilling, can further reduce exposure of birds and small mammals to treated seed.
