Flowable Insecticide and Fungicide Seed Treatment
PROSPER FX Flowable Insecticide and Fungicide Seed Treatment is a systemic insecticide and fungicide seed treatment for control of flea beetles, as well as seed rot and damping off (preemergence and post emergence) caused by Pythium spp., Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium spp. and seed borne Alternaria spp.; seedling blight caused by Pythium spp., Rhizoctonia solani and Fusarium spp.; and early season root rot caused by Pythium spp. on canola, mustard (condiment and oilseed types) and rapeseed. Also controls seed borne blackleg. For protection of seeds and emerging seedlings only.
For use in commercial seed treatment with closed transfer including closed mixing, loading, calibrating, and closed treatment equipment only. No open transfer of Prosper FX Flowable Insecticide and Fungicide Seed Treatment. All seed treated with this product must be conspicuously coloured at the time of treatment.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
PROSPER FX Flowable Insecticide and Fungicide Seed Treatment is a systemic insecticide and fungicide seed treatment. The insecticide component, clothianidin, controls flea beetles on seed and seedlings of canola (including Brassica napus and Brassica rapa), mustard (condiment and oilseed types) and rapeseed. PROSPER FX Flowable Insecticide and Fungicide Seed Treatment provides protection from flea beetle feeding up to the 4 leaf stage of canola, mustard (condiment and oilseed types) and rapeseed. PROSPER FX Flowable Insecticide and Fungicide Seed Treatment contains the fungicides carbathiin, trifloxystrobin, and metalaxyl. These fungicides control seed rot and damping off (pre-emergence and post emergence) caused by Pythium spp., Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium spp. and seed borne Alternaria spp.; seedling blight caused by Pythium spp., Rhizoctonia solani and Fusarium spp.; and early season root rot caused by Pythium spp. on canola (including Brassica napus and Brassica rapa), mustard (condiment and oilseed types)and rapeseed. Also controls seed borne blackleg. For protection of seeds and emerging seedlings only.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
PROSPER FX Flowable Insecticide and Fungicide Seed Treatment is for use in commercial seed treatment facilities with closed transfer systems including closed mixing, loading, calibrating, anc losted treatment equipment only. No open transfer of PROPER FX Flowable Insecticide and Fungicide Seed Treatment.
Not for use on agricultural establishments, in hopper-box, slurry -box, or similar seed treatment application used at or immediately before planting. This product is to be used in commercial liquid or slurry type treaters. Mix thoroughly before use or use entire container at one time. Do not apply this product directly to freshwater habitats (such as lakes, rivers, sloughs, ponds, prairie potholes, creeks, marshes, streams, reservoirs, ditches and wetlands), estuaries or marine habitats.
DO NOT contaminate irrigation water or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes.
APPLICATION OF PROSPER FX FLOWABLE INSECTICIDE AND FUNGICIDE SEED TREATMENT FOR CANOLA, MUSTARD (CONDIMENT AND OILSEED TYPES) AND RAPESEED:
PROSPER FX Flowable Insecticide and Fungicide Seed Treatment can be applied at 1400 mL per 100 kg seed for use under moderate to high flea beetle pressure and when longer season control of flea beetles is required.
NOTE: Do not make any subsequent application of a group 4 insecticide (i.e. in-furrow or foliar application following treatment with Prosper FX Flowable Insecticide and Fungicide Seed Treatment). When adding rinsate from triple rinsing the container for disposal, be sure to recalibrate seed treater by adjusting the application volume up by 6%.
