GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Salibro is a sulfonamide nematicide, available in suspension concentrate form to be diluted with water. It works by contact with nematodes in soil pore water and isn't considered systemic in plants when applied to soil. Sensitivities vary, with plant parasitic nematodes being more sensitive than other soil nematode groups.
NEMATODE PRESSURE AND MANAGEMENT
Various nematode population pressures can exist in field conditions. Single product efficacy depends on product effectiveness, accurate application into the treated root zone area, and nematode population levels. Under extremely high nematode pressure, no single product will provide high-level control, necessitating a range of nematode management measures such as rotations, fallow periods, resistant varieties, and chemical or biological control agents.
INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT
Salibro has a favorable profile for non-target organisms, making it suitable for integrated pest management (IPM) systems. It's compatible with a broad range of naturally occurring or introduced biological control agents and other non-target organisms in the soil rhizosphere.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS (In-furrow or broadcast application)
Ensure spraying equipment is clean and properly calibrated. Fill the spray tank ¼ to ½ full of water and add Salibro directly during filling. Keep the material in suspension at all times by continuous agitation using mechanical or hydraulic means. Surfactant/wetting agents aren't required.
APPLICATION BY TRICKLE OR DRIP IRRIGATION
Drip systems must be properly designed, leak-free, and provide uniform water application in the targeted root zone area. Salibro must be uniformly applied across the root zone. Apply during the second quarter or middle third of the drip cycle, ensuring the system is thoroughly flushed afterward.
IN-FURROW AT-PLANT APPLICATION
Apply in-furrow during planting operations where permitted. Direct applications into the open furrow and cover with soil.
BROADCAST APPLICATION FOLLOWED BY INCORPORATION
Apply with conventional equipment, maintain sufficient agitation during mixing, and uniformly apply over the entire field. Mechanically incorporate immediately after application to ensure even distribution.
COMPATIBILITY
Salibro is physically compatible with most commonly used fungicides and insecticides. Conduct a compatibility test before mixing in a spray tank. The tank-mixing sequence recommended includes water soluble bags, dry flowable or water dispersible granules, wettable powders, water-based suspension concentrates (e.g., Salibro), and other products.
