General Instructions:
Use of Wetting Agent:
Add a non-ionic surfactant at registered label rates when diluting with water.
Spray Preparation:
Quarter to half fill spray tank with water.
Add the required amount of the product and complete filling with water.
Add a non-ionic surfactant and continue agitation before spraying.
Application:
a) Larvicidal:
Apply when infestation reaches an economically damaging level.
Repeat as needed.
Use lower rates on small larvae and light infestations, higher rates on large larvae and heavier infestations.
b) Ovicidal/Larvicidal:
Use lower rates when only eggs are present, higher rates for heavy egg lays or larvae less than 3 mm.
For larvae longer than 3 mm, use larvicidal rates.
Tree and Vine Crops - Dilute Spraying:
Apply with a sprayer designed for high water volumes.
Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
Spray to the point of run-off.
Tree and Vine Crops - Concentrate Spraying:
Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying.
Determine appropriate dilute spray volume and mixing rate based on crop canopy.
Adjust spray volume and operation as the crop grows.
Non-tree and Vine Crops - Ground Application:
Apply as a fine spray preferably using cone nozzles.
Ensure proper timing and good coverage.
Use 100-400 L/ha spray mixture unless directed otherwise.
Aerial Application:
Adjust spray volumes based on product rates.
Use appropriate droplet sizes based on application volume.
Avoid application in calm conditions, apply in light to moderate crosswinds to reduce drift.
Insecticide Resistance Warning:
Sinmas 225 Insecticide is a Group 1A insecticide.
Resistance may develop with repeated use.
Consult local suppliers or agricultural department agronomists for resistance management strategies.
Compatibility:
Sinmas 225 Insecticide is compatible with a wide range of pesticides.
Keep unprotected persons out of operational area during treatment and avoid contact with spray residues.
Storage and Disposal:
Store in closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area.
Do not contaminate seed, feed, or foodstuff.
Dispose of rinsate properly and do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site.
Follow recycling or waste management regulations for container disposal.
