DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Seal the potato storage building to prevent or reduce leakage. Adjust the ventilation system to ensure even distribution of moving air. Adjust the application equipment to deliver droplets in the range of 1 to 10 microns.
Ensure that air blower screens are clear and no restrictions in air flow are present on the thermal generator.
Apply sufficient SPROUT NIP 980 POTATO SPROUT INHIBITOR (1.67 - 3.33 kg per 100 metric tonnes of potatoes) to achieve a deposit on the potatoes in the range of 6 to 12 ppm (whole weight basis). The rate applied will depend on storage conditions, e.g., temperature, free moisture and length of storage period. A second application may be required in 90-150 days depending on storage conditions. Following treatment with
Sprout Nip 980 Potato Sprout Inhibitor plant growth regulator continue air circulation until fog clears (2-4 hours). Standard aeration/ventilation for temperature and humidity control can then be resumed.
