DIRECTIONS FOR USE
This product contains the antibiotic streptomycin. To reduce the development of drugresistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of streptomycin and other antibacterial products in humans, this product should be used only when it is absolutely necessary to treat or prevent fire blight infection.
DISEASE AND CROP: Fireblight, Apples – Pears.
Recommended Concentration: 100 p.p.m. = 97 grams a.i. in 1000 L or 600 g of
STREPTOMYCIN 17 Fungicide per 1000 L of water. Up to 5.4 kg of STREPTOMYCIN 17 Fungicide may be applied per hectare per crop season.
DIRECTIONS FOR APPLICATION: Begin spray application when trees at 20% to 30% bloom and repeat during blossom time. Apply spray up to 14 days after petal fall to control twig blight. Consult your local agricultural advisor or spray calendar regarding the timing of successive applications. Danger of spreading infection increases when the temperature is 18o
C with rain or humidity of 60% or higher. Do not apply more than three times per season.
Preharvest Interval: For Apples – Do not apply within 50 days of harvest. For Pears –
Do not apply within 30 days of harvest.
