DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

VAULT 50 FS Insecticide Seed Treatment is a systemic seed treatment insecticide for the protection of canola and mustard seedlings [Yellow and Brown Mustard as well as Oriental Mustard (condiment and oilseed types)] against flea beetles.

APPLICATION RATE:

For early season control of flea beetles, apply VAULT 50 FS Insecticide Seed Treatment to canola and mustard seed at rates of 5 to 10 mL product per kg of seed (2.5 to 5 g ai/kg seed).
For high pest pressure where extended protection from flea beetles is required, use the higher rate.
A maximum volume of 80 L of product, per person, per day, may be used to treat seed in a commercial seed treatment facility.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

VAULT 50 FS Insecticide Seed Treatment is to be used only in commercial seed treatment facilities with closed transfer, including closed mixing, loading, calibrating, and closed treatment equipment. Seed should be well-conditioned and free of chaff before treating with VAULT 50 FS Insecticide Seed Treatment. Apply VAULT 50 FS
Insecticide Seed Treatment to seed slowly in a calibrated seed treating equipment system to ensure proper rates. Thorough seed coverage is required. Compatibility with seed treatment polymers and additional seed colourants should be determined with VAULT 50 FS Insecticide Seed Treatment prior to application.
VAULT 50 FS Insecticide Seed Treatment can be used alone or with Foundation Lite fungicide seed treatment on canola and mustard.
The two products can applied in one of the following ways:
1. Each product is delivered separately to the seed treatment application chamber and applied separately and then mixed with the seed.
2. The products are slurried together in a pre treatment tank – no additional water is required.
3. The products can be applied individually in two separate application processes.
The application rate for Foundation Lite Canola and Mustard Seed Treatment is 22.5 mL/kg of seed. Refer to the Foundation Lite Canola and Mustard Seed Treatment label for additional use instructions and precautions and follow the more stringent of the two.
Do not use in hopper box, planter box, slurry box or other seed treatment equipment applications at, or immediately before, planting.
