Ivy-leaved speedwell

Hibernating, annual or hardy-annual seed weed with creeping growth and taproot, branched, light-demanding, up to 20 cm (7.87 inch) long.

Ivy-leaved true leaves, small blue flowers, low growth.

Stems weak, prostrate to ascending, 5-40 cm (1.97 - 15.75 inch) long, branched at the base, spreading-hairy.

Cotyledons: Long-petiolated, haired oval, notched at apex.

Stems: Prostrate, branched at the base, hairy.

Leaves: Suborbicular, obcordate, 3-7 lobed with a broader terminal lobe.
Hairy, little lobed first true leaves.
