Flowers: Flowers usually in pairs in upper leaf axils. Flowers with petals about 1 cm long. Flowers late summer to winter.
Annual or short-lived perennial shrub to 2 m high. Stems with woody base and branches usually sparsely hairy on newest growth. Leaflets sparsely hairy. Seeds rhomboid, flattened, shiny brown to olive, to 5.5 mm long and oblique in seedpods.
