General Information:

Amicus is a selective pre-emergent herbicide that contains the active ingredient metolachlor. Mode of Action:

By inhibiting PAL, metolachlor stops the production of aromatic amino acids, which leads to the disruption of plant growth and development, and eventually to death.

Application:

Amicus can be applied as a pre-emergent or post-emergence herbicide. The recommended dose and application method will vary depending on the crop and the weeds to be controlled. For example, to control grasses and broadleaf weeds in maize, Amicus can be applied as a pre-emergent herbicide at a dose of 800 ml per hectare.

• Amicus is not rain fast. Therefore, it should not be applied if rain is expected within 4 hours of application.
