DHARRISE (Dharmaj Crop Guard) Pyrazosulfuron ethyl 10% WP is a selective systemic herbicide used to control a wide variety of broadleaf weeds in rice paddies. It is a sulfonylurea herbicide that is absorbed by the leaves and roots of weeds and translocated throughout the plant, disrupting plant growth and ultimately killing the weed from the inside out. DHARRISE is a highly effective herbicide that is also relatively safe for the environment.

Active Ingredient

The active ingredient in DHARRISE is pyrazosulfuron-ethyl, a sulfonylurea herbicide that belongs to the ALS inhibitor class of herbicides. Pyrazosulfuron-ethyl works by inhibiting the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which is essential for the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs). Without BCAAs, protein synthesis is disrupted and the plant dies.

Application Methods

DHARRISE is applied to rice paddies as a foliar spray using a ground sprayer or a knapsack sprayer. The application rate is 10-20 g/ha. It is important to apply the herbicide evenly to all weeds.

Crops

DHARRISE is selective for rice and is safe for use in rice paddies. However, it is important to use the correct application rate to avoid crop injury.

Dosage

The recommended dosage of DHARRISE is 10-20 g/ha.

Re-entry Interval

The re-entry interval for DHARRISE is 12 hours. This means that people and animals should not enter treated rice paddies for at least 12 hours after application.

Preharvest Interval

The preharvest interval for DHARRISE is 30 days. This means that treated rice should not be harvested for at least 30 days after application.

Packaging

DHARRISE is available in 250 g, 500 g, and 1 kg bottles.

Manufacturer

DHARRISE is manufactured by Dharmaj Crop Guard, a leading manufacturer of agricultural chemicals in India.
