General Information

Plethora is a broad-spectrum lepidopteran insecticide with contact and stomach action. It is a combination insecticide that contains two active ingredients: novaluron and indoxacarb.

Active Ingredients

  • Novaluron 5.25%
  • Indoxacarb 4.5%

Mode of Action

Novaluron acts by inhibiting chitin formation during insect molting. This leads to the death of the insect during the molting process. Indoxacarb acts by disrupting the insect's sodium channels. This leads to paralysis and death of the insect.

Application

Plethora can be applied to crops using a variety of methods, including foliar spraying, soil application, and seed treatment. The specific application method and dosage will vary depending on the crop and the target pest.
