eneral Information:

  • Trade name: Insure Perform
  • Active ingredients: Triticonazole and Pyraclostrobin
  • Fungicide class: Group G1:3 / C3:11 fungicide

Mode of Action:

Insure Perform is a systemic fungicide that works by two different modes of action. Triticonazole is a sterol demethylation inhibitor (DMI) fungicide that disrupts the production of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Pyraclostrobin is a strobilurin fungicide that inhibits energy production in the fungus. This combination of modes of action makes Insure Perform very effective against a wide range of fungal diseases.

Application:

Insure Perform can be applied to a variety of crops, including wheat, barley, oats, and rye. It can be applied as a seed treatment, pre-emergence, or post-emergence. Insure Perform can be applied using a variety of application methods, including ground spraying, aerial spraying, and chemigation.

Precautions:

  • Insure Perform is toxic to fish and other aquatic life. Do not apply Insure Perform to areas where it may run off into water bodies.
  • Insure Perform can be harmful to non-target plants. Avoid applying Insure Perform to areas where non-target plants are growing.
  • Insure Perform is a residual fungicide, so it can persist in the soil for several weeks. Do not plant crops that are sensitive to Insure Perform within 3 to 6 weeks of application.

Always follow the label directions carefully when using Insure Perform fungicide to ensure safe and effective use.

Additional Information:

  • Insure Perform is a relatively new fungicide, so there is less resistance to it than other fungicides.
  • Insure Perform is a broad-spectrum fungicide, which means that it is effective against a wide range of fungal diseases.
  • Insure Perform is a systemic fungicide, which means that it is absorbed by the plant and translocated to the growing points. This makes it very effective at controlling fungal diseases.
