Product Overview

Melvin (Nichino Chemical India) THIOPHANATE METHYL 70% WP is a broad-spectrum fungicide that is effective against a wide range of fungal diseases in a variety of crops. It is a wettable powder (WP) formulation that contains the active ingredient thiophanate methyl. Thiophanate methyl is a systemic fungicide that is absorbed by the plant and moves throughout the plant to control fungal diseases. It works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. This disruption of cell membrane integrity leads to cell death and the control of fungal diseases.

Active Ingredient

  • Thiophanate methyl (70%)
