Mode of Action

SYMISTER TOP is a combination of two fungicides with different modes of action:

• Azoxystrobin: A quinone outside inhibitor that disrupts mitochondrial respiration, the process by which fungi generate energy. This leads to the disruption of fungal growth and reproduction.

• Difenoconazole: A sterol biosynthesis inhibitor that disrupts the production of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This leads to the leakage of cell contents and the death of the fungus

Application and Usage

SYMISTER TOP can be applied as a foliar spray or soil drench.

Foliar spray: Apply SYMISTER TOP as a foliar spray at a rate of 0.5 to 1.0 liter per hectare. Repeat applications at intervals of 7 to 10 days, as needed.

Soil drench: Apply SYMISTER TOP as a soil drench at a rate of 1.0 to 1.5 liters per hectare. Irrigate the field after application to ensure adequate penetration of the fungicide into the soil.

Precautions and Safety

SYMISTER TOP is moderately toxic to humans and animals. Wear protective clothing, including gloves, goggles, and a respirator, when mixing and applying the fungicide.
