Introduction

Mode of Action

Tembotrione is absorbed by the foliage of plants and translocated throughout the plant. Protoporphyrin IX is a precursor to chlorophyll, and without it, plants cannot produce chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is essential for photosynthesis, the process by which plants convert sunlight into energy. Without photosynthesis, plants cannot grow and eventually die.

Application Rates
