DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

Winter wheat, spring wheat, durum wheat, rye and triticale
Diseases controlled: Leaf Blotch (Mycosphaerella graminicola) and Glume Blotch (Phaeosphaeria nodorum )
Rate of Use: 2.0 litres in 200 litres water/ha
Timing:  CHLORTHALIS may be applied up to maximum individual dose of 2.0 l/ha if Septoria is evident and/or conditions are favourable for the spread of the disease. This may give protection against the spread of Septoria . Growth stage 33-65: CHLORTHALIS will provide protection against Septoria on the flag leaf and ear and should normally be applied between the third node detectable stage (GS33) and the mid flowering stage (GS65). For best results apply up to 2.0 l/ha between the third node detectable stage (GS33) and the flag leaf fully emerged stage (GS39).

Winter barley, spring barley, rye and triticale
Diseases controlled: Leaf scald (Rhynchosporium, secalis )
Rate of Use: 2.0 litres in 200-400 litres water/ha
Timing:  Apply as soon as disease is detected in the crop. A second application may be made before beginning of heading (GS51) if disease pressure is severe or if there is a risk of leaf spotting.

DISEASES CONTROLLED
CHLORTHALIS is a non-systemic, foliar fungicide for use on winter wheat, spring wheat, durum wheat, rye, triticale, winter barley and spring barley. It is has a protective action when applied at the first signs of disease. The activity of ‘CHLORTHALIS’ against Septoria may be reduced in the presence of serious mildew infection.

MIXING AND APPLICATION
Ensure that the sprayer is clean and correctly set. Half fill the spray tank with clean water and start agitation. Add the required amount of CHLORTHALIS to the sprayer. Agitate during completion of filling and while spraying. Do not leave in spray tank for long periods without using. Apply as a protective spray or as soon as disease appears and repeat as directed. It is particularly important to achieve good spray coverage of all foliage. Apply as a MEDIUM spray as defined by the BCPC system at a pressure of at least 2.0 bar. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. PROTECT FROM FROST. RINSE CONTAINER THOROUGHLY by using an integrated pressure rinsing device or manually rinsing three times. Add washings to the sprayer tank at the time of filling and dispose of container safely.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT
Consult your adviser for up to date guidance regarding current resistance status and a strategy for preventing and managing resistance in the cereal pathogens. The Fungicide Resistance Action Committee (FRAC) produces recommendations that may be consulted for additional information
