Closer is a new foliar-applied insecticide for control of aphids in ware and seed potatoes, brassica vegetables and leafy vegetables. Closer contains Isoclast active, which belongs to a new class of chemistry the sulfoximines, which has a novel and unique mode of action.

Closer is a selective insecticide for the control of aphids in cabbage, lettuce, spinach and potato crops.
Active substance: sulfoxaflor (TradeMark Isoclast) -120g/l (11.3%).
Physicochemical properties: Closer is presented as a concentrated suspension for the preparation of an aqueous solution (SC) with contact and ingestion action.
Mode of action: Closer is an insecticide with systemic mobility through the xylem but also translaminar thus ensuring an effective control of aphids in all the organs of the attacked plant. Contact of the aphids with the insecticide occurs by direct application or ingestion via the stipe (feeding tube of the aphids). After ingestion, the insecticide acts directly on specific acetylcholine receptors, control symptoms appear almost immediately and death of the pests occurs within a few hours of application. The systemic and translaminar mobility of the insecticide allows effective control of aphids both on the surface and inside the heads of Brassica vegetables.
