A suspension concentrate containing 200 g/l chlorantraniliprole for the control of caterpillars in apples and pears and Colorado beetle in potatoes (IRL only).

NSECT CONTROL
CORAGEN is an anthranilic insecticide used for the control of Codling moth (Cydia pomonella) in apples and pears and Colorado beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata) in potatoes (IRL only). Activity is by ingestion and contact. Paralysis of the pest occurs within a few hours of exposure and results in cessation of movement and feeding. Final control can take 2-4 days.
CORAGEN may be used as part of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program, which can include biological, cultural, and genetic practices, aimed at preventing economic pest damage. IPM principles and practices include field scouting or other detection methods, correct target pest identification, population monitoring, rotation of insecticides with different modes-of-action, and treating when target pest populations reach locally determined action thresholds. Consult your crop adviser to determine appropriate action treatment threshold levels for treating specific pest/crop or site systems in your area.

Insect resistance
When insecticides with the same mode of action are used repeatedly over several years to control the same species in the same field, naturally-occurring resistant strains may survive a correctly applied treatment, propagate, and become dominant in that field. An insect can be resistant if the product applied under recommended conditions fails to control a sensitive species and a suitable validation assay confirms the lack of activity.
Some insects (e.g. Cydia pomonella) have developed resistance to commercially available products. When resistance occurs, recommended rates fail to suppress the pest population below economic thresholds.

It is important that the grower considers the following:
- Alternate the use of CORAGEN with products with a different mode of action than chlorantraniliprole.
- Monitor insect populations and apply CORAGEN when locally determined economic thresholds are reached. More than one application may be necessary for any infestation, but no more than two applications of CORAGEN should be applied.
- Follow the directions for use as mentioned on this label regarding optimum dose, timing and interval between treatments.

CROPS
Coragen may be applied to the following crops:
Potato (IRL only)
Pests controlled: Colorado beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata)
Dose: 50 – 60 ml/ha in 200-600 l/ha using boom sprayer.
Timing: Treat at egg-hatch or as soon as the first signs of crop damage. In severe infestations a follow-up treatment may be applied after 14 days. The higher rate should also be used when pest pressure is severe. Apply no more than 2 applications per crop.

MIXING
Before using CORAGEN, make sure that the spraying equipment is clean. CORAGEN
mixes easily with water, but the following mixing procedure should be followed:
Quarter fill the spray tank with clean water, start the agitation and add the required quantity of CORAGEN directly to the tank. Continue agitation while topping up the tank and while spraying.

COMPATIBILITY (IRL only)
Do not use any product in a tank-mix if the mixture cannot be applied within the recommendations for all the separate ingredients. When using in a tank-mix, always add CORAGEN to the spray tank first. Consult your supplier before applying in tank-mix with any other product.
