A fungicide for the control of potato blight.
FOR USE ONLY AS AN AGRICULTURAL FUNGICIDE
FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY
A water dispersible granule (WG) formulation containing 45% w/w cymoxanil.

RESTRICTIONS
Allow a minimum of 7 days between applications. Only apply CYMBAL® 45 in tank mixture with other fungicides containing a different active ingredient. The container must not be re-used for any purpose.

RESISTANCE
When fungicides with the same mode of action are used repeatedly over several years in the same field, naturally occurring less sensitive strains may survive, propagate and become dominant in that field. It is therefore advised that wherever possible spray programmes should include fungicides with different modes of action.

CROPS
CYMBAL® 45 can be used on all varieties of early and main crop potatoes. On crops grown for processing, consult your processor before use.

TIMING AND WEATHER
Timing of spray applications should take into account the normal prevalence of the disease in the area and conditions in the particular season. The first spray should be applied as soon as there is a risk of blight infection or an of ficial warning has been issued, whichever occurs first.
In the absence of a warning, spraying should begin just before the crop meets along the rows.
Applications should be repeated at 10-14 day intervals depending on the prevalence of the disease and favourable conditions for infection. A 7 day spray interval may be used under exceptional circumstances, e.g. blight risk is already high and rain is forecast at the time the next 10 day spray is due. High risk situations include conditions of rapid growth, irrigated crops, areas of intensive potato growing, particularly blight sensitive varieties, when further warnings are issued, or when active blight is in the area. The longer interval is recommended under dry conditions. Irrigation of crops increases the risk of blight and crops should always be sprayed with CYMBAL® 45 as soon as possible after irrigation subject to the minimum spray interval. Irrigated crops should normally be sprayed at 10 day intervals. Maximum 6 applications.

DOSE
CYMBAL® 45 should be applied at 0.25 kg/ha in tank-mixture with one of the following products:
Fluazinam (Shirlan PCS n° 00609) at 0.4 litres product per hectare.
This mixture will give a reduction in tuber blight.
OR
Mancozeb 80% at 2.0 kg product per hectare.
OR
Cyazofamid (Ranman TwinPack A & B , PCS n° 02173) at 200 ml and 150 ml of product per hectare of Ranman A and B respectively.
This mixture will give a reduction in tuber blight.
OR
Cyazofamid (Ranman Top, PCS n° 04497) at 0.5 L product per hectare.
All other requirements and restrictions on the partner product label should be adhered to.

VOLUME AND APPLICATION
Apply CYMBAL® 45 in not less than 200 litres of water per hectare using a MEDIUM quality spray (as defined by BCPC).

MIXING
Spraying equipment should be thoroughly cleaned before spraying.
CYMBAL® 45 mixes easily with water and should be added directly to the spray tank during filling. Wash out container and add washings to the spray tank. Continue agitation until spraying is complete.
