DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the product label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
WINTER WHEAT
On winter wheat, 0.3 litres DIFCOR 250 EC per hectare controls brown rust and reduces ear discoloration.

Timing
DIFCOR 250 EC should be applied at any time from ear fully emerged stage of the crop to before grain milk-ripe stage (GS 59-71). Only one application should be made to anyone crop

WINTER AND SPRING SOWN OILSEED RAPE
DIFCOR 250 EC controls light leaf spot, leaf and pod spot (Alternaria spp.) and stem canker (Phoma lingam)

Light leaf spot
For control in areas of low disease risk, spray in spring at 0.5 L/ha at the first sign of disease but after 1st April. For moderate control of light leaf spot only, a 2-spray programme of 0.25 L/ha may be used, starting in the autumn

Leaf and pod spot
For effective control, spray 0.5 litre DIFCOR 250 EC per hectare at the end of fl owering.

Stem canker
Spray 0.5 L/ha in spring (after 1st April) if foliar disease develops. Stem canker present as a result of autumn infection will not be controlled

BRUSSELS SPROUTS, CABBAGE AND CAULIFLOWER
At 0.3 L/ha, DIFCOR 250 EC controls leaf spot (Alternaria spp.) and ring spot. A 3-spray programme should be used commencing at the fi rst sign of disease and repeated at 14-21 day intervals. A minimum interval of 14 days must be observed between applications to caulifl ower. Best control will result from spraying before disease is established in the crop.

MIXING AND SPRAYING
Mixing
Make sure the sprayer is set to give an even application at the correct volume. Fill the spray tank with half the required volume of clean water and start agitation. Add the required amount of DIFCOR 250 EC and continue agitation while adding the rest of the water. Agitate the mixture thoroughly before use and continue agitation during spraying. Thoroughly wash all spray equipment with water immediately after use

Spray volume
Winter wheat and oilseed rape: 200 litres water per hectare Brussels sprouts, cabbage and caulifl ower: 400 litres water per hectare

Spraying
Apply as a MEDIUM quality spray as defi ned by BCPC. A spray pressure of 2-3 bars is preferred

COMPATIBILITY
In case of tank mixes with trace elements, it is recommended that DIFCOR 250 EC is added fi rst to the tank with constant agitation and the mixture is sprayed without delay. Important: GLOBACHEM WILL NOT SUPPORT THE MIXING OF PRODUCTS CONTAINING MORPHOLINE WITH DIFCOR 250 EC. The user should ensure that all products to be tank mixed with DIFCOR 250 EC are approved for use on the crops which are to be sprayed. Always refer to other manufacturers product information when mixing to ensure correct product use. Each product should be added separately to the bulk of the water in the spray tank and thoroughly mixed before adding the next chemical. Always use constant agitation of the sprayer tank during mixing, transportation and application. Spray immediately.

RESISTANCE
DIFCOR 250 EC contains difenoconazole, a DMI fungicide (FRAC code 3). Avoid repeated use of fungicides having the same mode of action. Strains of Light Leaf Spot resistant to DMI fungicides are known to exist. To avoid development of resistance, apply this product protectively in response to disease forecasts. Where possible, when Light Leaf Spot is present, avoid the use of DMI-based fungicides when targeting other diseases such as Sclerotinia at mid fl owering. For some further advice on resistance management in DMI’s contact your agronomist or specialist advisor, and visit the FRAG-UK website.
