Forage and Grain Maize
Use pre-crop emergence for annual meadow-grass, some annual grasses and some broadleaved weed control.
Apply DUAL GOLD post drilling and pre-crop emergence when soils are moist or rain is expected imminently. Do not apply DUAL GOLD at the point of emergence of the crop.
Cockspur grass should not be beyond the 1–2 leaf stage at the time of application.

Use of adjuvants
No adjuvant is needed with DUAL GOLD.
There are no known adverse effects to following crops after the application of DUAL GOLD to maize.
MIXING AND SPRAYING
Make sure the sprayer is set to give an even application at the correct volume. Fill the spray tank with half the required volume of water and begin agitation. Add the required amount of DUAL GOLD to the spray tank and allow to disperse before adding any other product.
Add the rest of the water and continue to agitate the mixture thoroughly. Always agitate during spraying.
Spray DUAL GOLD in 200–400 litres of water per hectare.
Apply through a conventional field crop sprayer using a pressure of 2-3 bars. Ensure the sprayer is correctly calibrated before use.
Do not leave spray liquid in the sprayer for long periods (i.e. overnight).
It is important to wash equipment thoroughly after use to remove all traces of DUAL GOLD as even small amounts may cause damage to crops. Rinse inside of tank with clean water using at least one tenth of the spray tank volume. After flushing through pump and spray lines, drain and repeat procedure.
Disposal of spray tank washings should be in accordance with local or national legislation.
