For use only as an agricultural herbicide.
A pre-emergence herbicide for the control of annual grass and annual broad leaved weeds in potatoes and peas.

A suspension concentrate formulation containing 600 g/L aclonifen (49.6%).

RESTRICTIONS
DO NOT apply Emerger after emergence of the crop. DO NOT disrupt the soil surface after application as this will reduce the level of weed control provided. To prevent damage, care must be taken to avoid spray drift onto neighbouring crops.

POTATOES, PEAS
Weeds: Annual meadow-grass, Chickweed, Common, Fat-hen, Polygonum spp.
Rate: 0.4L/ha.
Critical comments: Pre-emergence susceptibility at 0.4L/ha: Susceptible.

Weeds: Black-grass, Cleavers, Knotgrass, Mayweeds, Common Field Speedwell.
Rate: 0.4L/ha.
Critical comments: Pre-emergence susceptibility at 0.4L/ha: Moderately Susceptible.

Weeds: Wild-oats, Wild-oats.
Rate: 0.4L/ha.
Critical comments: Pre-emergence susceptibility at 0.4L/ha: Moderately Resistant.

CROP SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Crop damage can occur if Emerger is applied inappropriately (especially if applied post crop emergence or in unfavourable weather conditions such as heavy rain).
Surface run-off from treated sloping ground can cause damage to sensitive neighbouring crops.
Avoid spray drift onto sensitive neighbouring crops.

FOLLOWING CROPS and CROP FAILURE
Where more than 3 months have elapsed between application of Emerger and drilling of the following crop (either in the normal crop rotation or as a result of failure of the treated crop) any crop can be established provided that cultivation (using cultivator, disc harrow or similar) and thorough mixing of treated soil has been conducted to at least 10cm depth.
Where less than 3 months have elapsed between application of Emerger and drilling of the following crop (either in the normal crop rotation or as a result of failure of the treated crop) and where Emerger has been applied at up to a maximum application rate of 3.5 L/ha, field beans, peas, potatoes, sunflowers, tomatoes, lentils, maize can be established after shallow cultivation or ploughing. In addition, where ploughing is conducted, beet, clover, linseed and ryegrass can be established.

MIXING
Shake the container well before use. Half fill the spray tank with clean water, begin agitation and add the required amount of Emerger. Wash out the container and add the washings to the spray solution, before topping up with clean water.
Continue agitation until spraying is completed. Do not leave the sprayer filled with the spray solution standing for long periods. Wash out the sprayer thoroughly after use using a wetting agent or proprietary tank cleaner.
