A suspension concentrate containing 50 g/litre (4.84% w/w) florasulam for use only as an agricultural herbicide for the control of CLEAVERS and certain other broad leaved weeds in WINTER AND SPRING WHEAT, BARLEY, OATS, TRITICALE AND RYE

CROPS
Flora 50 can be used on all varieties of winter and spring wheat, barley, oats, rye an triticale (but not Durum wheat) between the growth stages given below.
Flora 50 may also be applied to these cereal crops undersown with ryegrass species.

Note
Do not apply to crops containing or undersown with clover or other legume containing mixtures.
To help prevent the build-up of resistance, do not apply Flora 50 to the same site for more than three consecutive years.

The maximum total dose of Flora 50 to any cereal crop should not exceed 0.15 litre/ha.

SOIL
Flora 50 is mainly absorbed by the leaves of the weeds and as such can be used on all soil types.

APPLICATION
Flora 50 may be applied through tractor-mounted hydraulic sprayers providing they are in good working order and have been calibrated according to the manufacturers’ recommendations.
Do not apply through CDA applicators.

WATER VOLUME
Apply Flora 50 in 150 to 250 litres of water per hectare. The lower volume must only be used in open crops on small weeds.

MIXING
Half fill the spray tank with water and add the required amount of Flora 50. Fill up the spray tank, agitating continuously to ensure thorough mixing, and maintain agitation until spraying is complete. Use only clean water for mixing.

SPRAY QUALITY
Apply Flora 50 as a MEDIUM spray as defined by the BCPC system.

SPRING APPLICATION
TIMING Flora 50 should be applied from 1st February, once the crop has reached 3 leaves (Zadoks 13) up to Zadoks 49 inclusive.

RATES OF USE
One application of up to 0.15 litre/ha will control all susceptible emerged weeds. Two split applications may be applied up to a maximum rate of 0.15 litre/ha where weed germination takes place over an extended period

MAXIMUM WEED SIZE CONTROLLED
Flora 50 is most effective when applied to small, actively growing weeds. Larger weeds may be less susceptible. For optimum performance it is important to check the size of weeds before application

AUTUMN APPLICATION
TIMING Flora 50 should be applied once the crop has reached 3 leaves (Zadoks 13) up to Zadoks 49 inclusive.

RATES OF USE
One application of up to 0.075 litre/ha will control all susceptible emerged weeds. Two split applications may be applied up to a maximum total dose of 0.075 litre/ha where weed germination takes place over an extended period.

MAXIMUM WEED SIZE CONTROLLED
Flora 50 is most effective when applied to small, actively growing weeds. Larger weeds may be less susceptible. For optimum per formance it is important to check the size of weeds before application.

TANK CLEANING
To avoid subsequent injury to crops other than cereals, all spraying equipment must be thoroughly cleaned both inside and out, using All Clear Extra® spray cleaner as follows:
1. Immediately after spraying, drain tank completely. Any contamination on the outside of the spraying equipment should be removed by washing with clean water.
2. Rinse inside of tank with clean water and flush through booms and hoses using at least one tenth of the spray tank volume. Drain tank completely.
3. Half fill tank with clean water and add All Clear Extra® at the recommended rate. Agitate and then briefly flush the booms and hoses with the cleaning solution. Top up with water making sure the tank is completely full and allow to stand for 15 minutes with agitation. Flush the booms and hoses and drain tank completely.
4. Nozzles and filters should be removed and cleaned separately with All Clear Extra® solution containing 50 ml of All Clear Extra® per 10 litres of water.
5. Rinse the tank with clean water and flush through the booms and hoses using at least one tenth of the spray tank volume. Drain tank completely.
6. For disposal of washings, follow Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Pesticides on Farms and Holdings. Do not spray onto sensitive crop or land intended for cropping with sensitive crop.

Note
If it is not possible to drain the tank completely, step 3 must be repeated before going onto step 4

NOTES
Do not apply Flora 50 in tank mix with certain sulphonylurea herbicides (amidosulfuron, triasulfuron, flupyrsulfuronmethyl or imazamethabenz-methyl).
Do not spray when crops are under stress from cold, drought, pest damage, nutrient deficiency etc.
Do not roll or harrow 7 days before or after application.
Flora 50 is rainfast in one hour.
Avoid drift onto neighbouring crops, especially broad-leaved crops, hedgerows, sur face waters or ditches
