DIRECTIONS FOR USE
DISEASE CONTROL Blight in potatoes (Phytophthora infestans) is a disease which is variable in its occurrence and severity. GLOBE allows the use of a flexible programm e to retain continuous healthy foliage free fro m this disease. GLOBE combines the local systemic action of cymoxani l an d the protectant activity of mancozeb . GLOBE will control strains of blight both resistant and sensitive to phenylamides. The rapid penetration of cymoxani l into the leaf and its post-infection, curative activity means that GLOBE provides blight protection bot h inside and outside the leaf and is effective even in wet weather

CROPS
All varieties of early, maincrop and seed potatoes may be treated with GLOBE, On crops grow n for processing consult your processor before use

TIMING AND WEATHER
Spraying should commenc e whe n the crop meets within the rows or immediately should the first blight infection period occur e.g. as notified by Teagasc. Applications should be repeated at 10-14 day intervals whe n disease pressure is high or weather conditions are conducive to infection. There are certain areas which are at extreme risk because of climatic conditions and cultural practices. In these areas applications should be mad e at 7 day intervals.
Crops grow n under irrigation should be regarded as at extreme risk at all times and treated at 7 day intervals. Treatment should be applied after irrigation.
Note ; Following the harvest of first earlies and second early crops any haulm that remains should be completely destroyed or removed immediately, as failure t o d o so wil l result in high blight pressure on neighbouring maincrop potatoes.

DOSE
Apply GLOBE  at 2.0 kg/hectare.

VOLUME AND APPLICATION
Apply GLOBE in not less tha n 20 0 litres of water per hectare.

SPRAY QUALITY
Apply GLOBE as a MEDIUM spray as defined in the BCPC system.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the filter basket and add the required quantity of GLOBE to the half filled spray tank with the agitation system in operation and then fill to the required level measure out of recommended rate of GLOBE.Continue agitation at all times until spraying is completed.
