Critical comments: Maximum number of treatments: 2 per crop. Maximum total dose: 4 litres product/ ha. Latest time of application: Before grain watery ripe stage (GS 71).

Restrictions/Warnings

Avoid spray drift on to neighbouring crops.
After spraying, wash out sprayer thoroughly according to manufacturer‘s guideline and dispose of washings and clean container according to DEFRA Code of Practice and local authority guidelines.

Resistance

In order to minimise risk of resistance development, Imtrex should always be used in mixture with products with a different mode of action at a dose that will give robust control.
Imtrex should be used in accordance with the instructions for use for the target diseases at the specific growth stages indicated.
Use Imtrex as part of an Integrated Crop Management (ICM) strategy incorporating other methods of control.
You must not apply more than two foliar applications of products containing complex II inhibitors to any cereal crop.

Crop specific information
Crops
For use in all varieties of winter and spring wheat, durum wheat, winter and spring barley, oats, rye and triticale.
Time of Application
Apply Imtrex at the start of disease attack. A maximum of 2 applications can be made up to and including flowering (anthesis) just complete in winter and spring wheat, durum wheat, winter and spring barley, rye, triticale, and oats.
Rate of Application
Apply Imtrex at 2 litres of product per hectare in a water volume of 150 to 300 litres of water per hectare.
Qualified recommendation
Imtrex may be applied at 2 litres per hectare in 100 litres water per hectare although efficacy it this reduced volume has not been evaluated. Therefore application at 100 litres water per hectare is at user’s risk with regard to biological efficacy.
 
Following crops
After treating a cereal crop with Imtrex: barley, cabbages, carrots, chicory, clover, dwarf beans, field beans, leeks, lettuces, linseed, maize, oats, oilseed rape, onions, peas, potatoes, radishes, ryegrass, soya beans, spinach, sugar beet, sunflowers, triticale and wheat may be sown as the following crop.
 
Mixing and Spraying
Mixing
Half fill the spray tank with clean water and start agitation. Shake the container well before use and pour in the required amount of product. Rinse empty containers thoroughly and add rinsings to the spray tank. Add the remainder of the water and continue agitation until spraying is complete.
When tank mixes are to be used, each product should be added separately to the spray tank, taking due note of any instructions given as to the order of mixing.
Application
Apply as a MEDIUM spray as defined by BCPC.
