Selective herbicide for control of weeds in grassland. For use only as an Agricultural Herbicide 250g/l MCPA (22.5% w/w) as a potassium salt Formulation: Soluble Concentrate
B.A.P MCPA controls the following weeds; CHARLOCK, FAT HEN, HEMP, NETTLE, THISTLE, SOW-THISTLE (Spray as late as possible), BUTTERCUP, DOCKS, CORN FLOWERS, SHEPHERDS PURSE, TREACLE MUSTARD, WILD RADISH (White), RUNCH etc.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Application Rate: 2.8 – 5.6 litres per hectare (2 – 4 pints per acre). Calculate volume of water you wish to apply per hectare (acre). Estimate amount of B.A.P MCPA required and add to spray tank at any stage during filling operations. Agitate to ensure mixing.
Adjust booms to give proper coverage of the crop allowing cones of spray to meet a few centimetres above the crop. If wind is present, spray across to avoid drift. NEVER SPRAY when drift can be thrown on tillage or fruit crop. Drive sprayer at correct speed and ensure pressure is correct.
B.A.P. MCPA is NOT SUITABLE for use in undersown, as damage to young clover may result. ALWAYS CLEAN SPRAYER & UTENSILS thoroughly before and after use of B.A.P. MCPA as small traces can damage vegetable crops.
RUSHES
The common soft rush may be controlled with 6.6 litres of B.A.P. MCPA in 200 litres of water per hectare (8 pints of B.A.P. MCPA in 20 gallons of water per acre) Spraying should be carried out at end of May to middle of June in good growing weather. Rushes need not be cut beforehand. It is advisable to cut and remove rushes about 4 or 5 weeks after spraying. Apply fertiliser according to advice from your agricultural advisor, to stimulate growth and grass competition. Our products are formulated and manufactured to the highest commercial standards and we believe them to be suitable for the purposes stated, but as we do not exercise control over the mixing or application, no warranty of any kind is made as to the quality of our goods and no responsibility will be accepted by the manufacturer or seller for damage arising either directly or indirectly from their storage, handling, application or use.
