The new and unique solution to flexible and robust cereal disease control.

Peacoq is a new fungicide for the control of Septoria tritici, brown rust and yellow rust in winter wheat, winter triticale, winter spelt and durum wheat.

Peacoq is broad-spectrum fungicide containing Fenpicoxamid, more commonly known as Inatreq active.

Inatreq active offers a new and unique site of action for curative and persistent protection against all Septoria strains. Using Corteva’s patented i-Q4 technology, it provides near 100% leaf coverage and is highly flexible in application, delivering robust, market-leading protection so you can secure your yield and the future of your farm.

Characteristics of Inatreq active:

  • It is the first picolinamide to be registered in Ireland with a new site of action for broad spectrum disease control in cereals.
  • It offers robust control of Septoria, including isolates resistant to other sites of action.
  • It is an excellent broad-spectrum product as it also offers control of yellow and brown rust.
  • Patented i-Q4 technology brings flexibility to applications by helping compensate for the spray settings such as the use of low drift nozzles.

Peacoq MUST always be used in a mixture with a partner product which has a different mode of action.

Resistance management
PEACOQ must always be used in mixture with products with a different mode of action at a dose that will give robust control. You must not apply more than one foliar application of PEACOQ to any cereal crop.
PEACOQ should be used in accordance with the instructions for use for the target disease at the specific growth stages indicated.
PEACOQ contains fenpicoxamid which belongs to FRAC group C4#21 (Inhibition of respiration at complex III; QiI fungicides). Fenpicoxamid is not cross-resistant to any of the commercial fungicide currently used in cereals. Use PEACOQ as part of an Integrated Crop Management (ICM) strategy incorporating other methods of control.

Time of Application
Apply PEACOQ from growth stage BBCH 30 (beginning of stem elongation). A maximum of one application can be made up to and including the end of flowering (BBCH 69). Best results will be achieved before disease becomes established in the crop.

Rate of Application
Apply 2 L/ha in 100 - 300 litres of water/ha.
Horizontal boom sprayers must be fitted with three star drift reduction technology for all uses. A spray pressure of 2-3 bar is recommended. Use of low drift nozzles will not negatively affect the performance of PEACOQ.

Mixing and Spraying
Half fill the spray tank with clean water and start the agitation. SHAKE THE CONTAINER WELL before use and pour in the required amount of product. Rinse any empty containers thoroughly and add rinsings to the spray tank. Add the remainder of the water and continue agitation until spraying is completed.
Spray solution MUST be used on the day of mixing and must NOT be left overnight.
Sprayers should be thoroughly cleaned with water and detergent after use, and filters and jets checked for damage and blockages. Boom height should be adjusted to ensure even coverage of the crop, In dense crops, at later growth stages, higher water volumes should be used.
When tank mixes are to be used, each product should be added separately to the spray tank, taking due note of any instructions given as to the order of mixing.
