Crop Winter wheat, spring wheat, durum wheat, rye & triticale
Disease
Septoria Leaf Blotch (Mycosphaerella graminicola)
Rate of use 1-2 l/ha in 200 l/ha water
Method and timing In the period 1st -2nd node GS30-32, apply immediately disease appears.
Disease Glume blotch (Phaeosphaeria nodorum), Septoria Leaf Blotch (Mycosphaerella graminicola)
Method and timing Normally apply from third node detectable to mid flowering stage (GS33-65). However if disease is present at GS33, it is essential to spray early. Apply within the period GS33-39 for best results. Otherwise apply as soon as disease is anticipated or shows signs of spreading. Late application has a reduced effect. Powdery mildew, if present or likely to occur, should be controlled with a specific mildewicide in a tank-mixture otherwise control of Septoria spp. is likely to be reduced.
Rate of use Early (from GS33) disease from 1 l/ha High risk situations 2 l/ha in 200 l/ha water

Crop Winter and spring barley
Disease
Leaf scald Rhychosporium secalis – moderate controlMethod and timing
Method and timing For best results apply as soon as disease is seen. Repeat once before the beginning of heading (GS59) if there is severe disease pressure or if there is a risk of leaf spotting.
Rate of use 2 l/ha in minimum 200 l/ha water per application

SPRAY MIXING
Invert the product container several times and shake thoroughly before opening. Add the required quantity of Phyton to the spray tank already half-filled with water and under agitation. Top up the spray tank with water to the required level and keep under constant agitation before, during and until completion of spraying. Thoroughly clean all equipment after use.

SPRAY APPLICATION
Apply Phyton as a MEDIUM spray (BCPC definition) to dry crop foliage when rain is not expected until the spray has dried. Increase the volume of water in line with crop growth using the maximum spray volume when the vegetation is most dense. Spray evenly and ensure thorough even coverage of the crop foliage.
