Redigo Pro may be used on all varieties of winter and spring wheat, winter

DISEASES CONTROLLED

Wheat, Oats, Durum Wheat, Rye and Triticale
Fusarium seedling blight/stem base browning
Redigo Pro improves crop establishment and the health of stem bases by reducing the symptoms of seedling blight and stem base browning, caused by Microdochium nivale and Fusarium culmorum.

Bunt
Redigo Pro controls bunt caused by seed- or soil-borne infections of Tilletia caries.

Loose smut
Redigo Pro controls loose smut caused by Ustilago nuda fsp tritici and U. avenae.

Blue mould (wheat and durum wheat)
Redigo Pro reduces the effects caused by blue mould (Penicillium spp) on germinating cereal seeds.

Winter and spring Barley
Fusarium seedling blight / stem base browning
Redigo Pro improves crop establishment and the health of stem bases by reducing the symptoms of seedling blight and stem base browning caused by Microdochium nivale.

Loose smut
Redigo Pro controls loose smut caused by Ustilago nuda fsp. hordei.
Covered Smut (barley and oats)
Redigo Pro controls covered smut caused by Ustilago hordei and U. kolleri (covered smut is rare in the UK and Ireland).

Leaf Stripe
Redigo Pro gives partial control of leaf stripe caused by seed borne infections of Pyrenophora graminea (this level of control is insufficient for crops grown for multiplication).

Qualified recommendation for minor use
Ergot
Limited evidence suggests Redigo Pro reduces the germination of ergot particles in contaminated seed stock thus helping to reduce the spread of spores of the causal fungus Claviceps purpurea. Other seed hygiene and agronomic measures should be employed to reduce further the impact of the disease.

RATE OF USE

67 ml of Redigo Pro per 100 kg of seed (0.67 litre per tonne of seed).

APPLICATION

Redigo Pro must only be used in conjunction with Bayer approved seed treatment application equipment by following the procedures given in the operating instructions. ALWAYS follow the operating instructions.
Ensure that Redigo Pro is homogeneous before use. Where necessary, the product should be fully re-dispersed using a re-circulating pump or mechanical agitator. For further advice on re-dispersing Redigo Pro please contact the local Seed Treatment Engineer of Bayer CropScience Ltd.
Warning: containers of greater than 20 litres capacity should be handled only with mechanical assistance.
Redigo Pro should be evenly applied using a Bayer recommended seed treatment machine, which has been accurately calibrated to obtain the correct dose rate.
Redigo Pro should be co-applied with a minimum of 2–4 litres of water per tonne of seed to improve the evenness of coverage of treated seed. The amount of water used will depend on the type of seed treater used and processing conditions.
