Oliver is a post-emergent, systemic herbicide developed by Rallis India Limited. It is a broad-spectrum herbicide that can be used to control a wide range of weeds, including grasses, broadleaf weeds, and woody plants. Oliver is a water-dispersible granule (WG) formulation that is applied to the foliage of weeds. It is absorbed by the plant and translocated throughout the system, killing the plant by disrupting photosynthesis.

Active materials:

  • Clodinafop-propargyl (240 g/kg)
  • Imazapyr (320 g/kg)

Uses:

Oliver can be used to control a wide range of weeds, including:

  • Grasses: Bermudagrass, crabgrass, johnsongrass, nutsedge, and other annual and perennial grasses

  • Woody plants: Brush, trees, and other woody plants

To control woody plants, the application rate is 1.5 to 3 lb/acre.

Restrictions:

Oliver is a restricted-use herbicide, meaning that it can only be applied by certified applicators. Oliver is also not recommended for use in residential areas.
