Rhino is a product of NACL Industries Limited, a leading agrochemical company in India. It is a non-selective contact herbicide that contains 24% paraquat dichloride as the active ingredient. Paraquat dichloride is a quaternary ammonium compound that interferes with the photosynthesis process of plants, causing oxidative damage to the cell membranes and cytoplasm.

Rhino is effective against a broad spectrum of weeds and grasses, such as Imperata, Setaria, Commelina, Boerraria, Paspalum, Chenopodium, Angallis, Trianthema, Cyperus, Fumeria, Digera, Corchorus, Leucas, Euphorbia, Echinochloa, Ischaemum, Cynodon, Convolvulus, Portulaca, Rosa, and Rubus. It can be used in various crops, such as tea, potato, cotton, grapes, sugarcane, and apple 124. The recommended dose of Rhino varies depending on the crop and the weed, ranging from 330 to 1700 ml per acre.

Rhino is a fast-acting herbicide that shows visible results within a few hours of application. It is rainfast and does not leach or volatilize. It is also biodegradable and does not persist in the soil or water. However, Rhino is highly toxic to humans, animals, and aquatic life. It can cause severe skin and eye irritation, respiratory distress, kidney failure, and death if ingested, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin 23. Therefore, it is essential to follow the safety precautions and instructions on the label when using Rhino. Rhino should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, away from heat, sparks, flames, and children.
