Sahib Glypho is a selective post-emergence herbicide that effectively controls a wide range of annual and perennial grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds in rice fields and other non-crop areas. It contains 71% glyphosate as its active ingredient and is an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. It is easy to mix with water and can be applied to rice fields and other non-crop areas as a foliar spray.

Mode of Action

Sahib Glypho is absorbed by the leaves and stems of treated weeds and translocates throughout the plant. It disrupts the plant's enzyme EPSPS, which is responsible for the synthesis of essential amino acids. This disruption leads to the starvation and death of the treated weeds.

Application Instructions

Sahib Glypho should be applied as a foliar spray to actively growing weeds. The amount of herbicide that you need to use will depend on the type of weeds you are targeting, the severity of the weed infestation, and the growth stage of your crop.

It is recommended to apply Sahib Glypho 20-25 days after transplanting (DAT) or 30-40 days after direct seeding (DAS) of rice. For other non-crop areas, the application timing will depend on the growth stage of the weeds.
