Sahib Metri is a pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide that effectively controls a wide range of annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds in various crops. It contains 71% metsulfuron methyl as its active ingredient and is a soluble concentrate (SC) formulation. It is easy to mix with water and can be applied to various crops as a foliar spray or broadcast application.

Mode of Action

Sahib Metri is absorbed by the roots and shoots of germinating weeds and translocates throughout the plant, disrupting its cell division and growth processes. This leads to the death of the emerging weeds.

Application Instructions

Sahib Metri can be applied as a pre-plant incorporated (PPI), pre-emergence (PE), or post-emergence (POE) application to various crops. The amount of herbicide that you need to use will depend on the type of weeds you are targeting, the crop you are treating, and the timing of the application.

For PPI applications, apply Sahib Metri to the soil surface and incorporate it into the top 2-3 inches of soil before planting.

For PE applications, apply Sahib Metri to the soil surface after planting but before the weeds emerge.
